The CTA Open Water Swim Series 1 has been CANCELLED.

NOTE from CTA:

Morning All,

Hope you all well and fresh after the weekend.

I have been notified by our safety crew for this weekends event that would need to be postponed.

Reason is, the weather predictions is high winds and low temperatures with chances of rain.

The water temperature does not meet the criteria to make it a sanctioned event as well as severe winds making it difficult to have the lifesavers on the water.

Water temperature taken was 15.5’c on the shallow side and 16’c moving out.

We have made plans to move the forward to November as the venue does not have any availability in October.

The dates are as follows:

16th of November
30th of November.

The events will be broken up to make it easier as based on everyone’s availability.

This will be confirmed before during the course of these 2 weeks.
