CTA Qualifying Gala #2

The CTA Qualifying Gala #2 is scheduled for 4-6 October at the Strand Municipal Pool.

Entries are due to ADMIN@tygerbergaquatics.com by 18 September 2019.

Please take note of the following important information:

This gala is for all Level 1 & up swimmers.
Swimmers may enter a maximum of 4 events.
Meet will be hosted at the Strand Municipal Pool, but should the water temp not be according to standard, the gala will shift to Reddam S/West.
All clubs will be notified of the pool temp on the 20^th and again on the 27^th of September 2019.

This is one of the last big galas to try and qualify for WC Champs. We would like to encourage all our competitive swimmers to enter this event focussing on entering the following:

200IM or 400IM (see the list of IM times below swum this season – swimmers need at least 2 x IM times to take part in SA Champs (100IM times don’t count).
200fly, 400IM, 400fr, 800fr, 1500fr (these are for 12 & over swimmers Level 3 & up – it’s great to see the Tygerberg Aquatics swimmers filling the heats in these events at Championship galas, so if you haven’t got a time this season yet, go for it!).
50m and 100m events (we use these for relay selections at Championship events – if you haven’t swum a 50m or 100m event yet this season, please enter these).
Any other events you are close to qualifying for WC or JC Champs (see the latest top times report below listing all events swum this season; see the WC and JC Champs qualifying times below to check how close you are to qualifying (WC Champs are from 1-4 Dec 2019 and JC Champs are from 8-9 Feb 2020).
Any other events you are close to qualifying for SA Age Group Champs (see the SA Champs qualifying times below to check how close you are to qualifying).
